Patch Note

• Fixed Nyancy's position on screen when the UI is hidden.
• Reverted classic Southern Ruby Island artworks back to their original assets.

Back when we were remaking this game years ago, I had Discovered an upscaling tool named waifu2x, which we had used to polish a few artworks from the first version of the game in Flash, which had many visual artefacts, especially the backgrounds. The tool uses neural network technology, which is the very basis of what we call today generative AI. 

With the current state of the industry and the oversaturation of generative AI abuse, I find such tool to be inadequate and I believe it is in our playerbase and artists best interest for our games to be completely AI-free, even with the mere use of an old upscaler.

As such, I've restored back all the impacted assets as this shouldn't have been a thing in the first place. 

On another node, I'm dropping an Android build today. This first time I attempted to make one and test it, it did not work, as such this builds comes with the following disclaimer :

• This build has not been tested on phone.
• This build is not guaranteed to run smoothly (or at all).
• If the game does work, certain key features may be broken.
• There is no further bug fixes or content planned for this.
• The UI is not adapted for phones whatsoever.

I can only mention that the game does run on an Android emulator.

Keep in mind, we're hard at work on a sequel!
